This project, requiring design, construction and installation of custom cabinetry, showcases expert finish carpentry. Our challenge was to develop cabinets that would accommodate the owner’s entertainment center, and large HD TV purchased prior to cabinet design. In order to install the cabinets on either side of the fireplace, we needed to clip the overhang of the hearthstone. And, we had to be sure the crown moulding was of enough depth to house the wiring. Our efforts resulted in precisely what the homeowners were looking for; beautiful, wheat stained oak cabinets with matching crown moulding, trim and mantle. The easy comfort of the family room is perfectly suited to the rustic décor of the rest of the home.
